Mahe Island

Largest island with the capital Victoria, mountain hiking, and diverse beaches and resorts.

Mahe is the hub of Seychelles. Victoria has the National Museum, botanical gardens, and port. The island has numerous beaches (Beau Vallon, Anse Takamaka, Anse Major) suitable for swimming, diving, and surfing. Mountain hikes (Morne Seychellois) offer views over the islands. The island serves as base for inter-island exploration.
