Curieuse Island
Small island near Praslin with giant tortoise sanctuary and mangrove wetlands supporting marine biodiversity.
A day trip from Praslin, Curieuse hosts a giant tortoise breeding program and mangrove habitat. The island is accessible by boat and has trails and a small museum. Snorkeling and swimming are possible. It is less touristed than Anse Source d'Argent but equally rewarding.
