Tsingy Rouge

Red stone needles rising from eroded canyons in a landscape unlike anywhere else.

Near Kandreho, red laterite formations create towering needle-like spires (tsingy means 'where you cannot walk barefoot'). The labyrinth of canyons and cliffs shifts color throughout the day. A few trails cut through, but the site is less developed than Tsingy de Bemaraha. The isolation and otherworldly geology make it feel untouched.
