Moheli Marine Protected Area
Protected coastal area known for sea turtles, dolphins, and pristine coral reefs.
Moheli, the smallest of the three main islands, hosts a marine protected area important for sea turtle nesting. Snorkeling and diving around the island reveal diverse coral and fish. Dolphins are common offshore. The island itself is very quiet, with simple guesthouses and fishing villages. Reaching Moheli requires ferry connections; it is ideal for travelers seeking solitude and marine focus.
