Victoria Falls
One of the world's largest and most spectacular waterfalls, straddling the Zambia-Zimbabwe border with adventure activities and scenic walks.
Victoria Falls is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's most iconic natural wonders. The Zambezi River plunges 108 meters over a 1,708-meter width, creating a roaring torrent and massive spray cloud. The falls are best viewed from both the Zambian (rainforest trails) and Zimbabwean (viewpoint side) perspectives. Adventure activities (whitewater rafting, bungee jumping, zip-lining, helicopter flights) are based on the Zambian side. The wet season (November-March) produces maximum water flow and spray; the dry season (August-October) reveals more falls structure but less water. The falls have profound spiritual significance to local communities.
