Livingstone Town

Historic colonial town serving as base for Victoria Falls tourism, with museums, markets, and Zambezi riverside activities.

Livingstone is named after David Livingstone, the Scottish explorer who documented Victoria Falls. The town has a colonial heritage reflected in architecture, museums (including a small Living museum), and street layout. The Livingstone Museum covers the region's history and Livingstone's legacy. The Zambezi riverfront offers sunset cruises and fishing. Markets provide access to local crafts and goods. The town serves as the primary access point for Zambian Victoria Falls and game reserve visits.
