Lake Ruhondo
Crater lake in the north with scenic views, local fishing villages, and quiet natural beauty.
This small crater lake near Musanze is less touristed than Lake Kivu. Boat trips and fishing excursions are available. Surrounding villages offer glimpses of rural Rwandan life. The lake is a peaceful day trip from Volcanoes National Park.
