Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, Marrakech

Vibrant central plaza with snake charmers, street performers, food vendors, and energy 24/7.

The heart of Marrakech's medina, Jemaa el-Fnaa is a sensory overload: acrobats, storytellers, musicians, henna artists, and snake charmers entertain crowds while food stalls serve tagines and fresh juice. Evenings are liveliest. Surrounding medina streets host souks selling carpets, spices, metalwork, and leather. The Koutoubia Mosque looms nearby. It is tourist-heavy but authentic energy persists. Wander the surrounding medina on foot; hire a guide for depth.
