Coastal town known for consistent ocean swells, a growing surfing destination.
Robertsport, 100 km north of Monrovia, has become known among African surfers for reliable waves. A few guesthouses cater to surfers. The beach is black sand and dramatic. The town itself is quiet and underdeveloped but welcoming. Access requires hiring a taxi from Monrovia (3-4 hours).
