Cape Verde
Rocky cape with dramatic coastline and a lighthouse, scenic day trip from Monrovia.
Cape Verde is Liberia's northernmost coastal point, marked by a lighthouse and rocky outcroppings. The drive from Monrovia (15 km) passes through villages and ends at a lighthouse commanding views of the Atlantic. The cape is windy and dramatic, especially during dry season. A good half-day excursion from the capital.
