Kinkon Falls

Dramatic waterfall cascade in the Fouta Djallon highlands.

Kinkon Falls plunges from the high Fouta plateau, creating a spectacular multi-tiered cascade. The surrounding landscape is lush highland grassland and forest. Swimming holes at the base are cold but refreshing. Guides from nearby villages are essential for safe navigation on slippery rocks. The waterfall is most dramatic during rainy season (July-September) but accessible year-round.
