Ivindo National Park and Falls
Rainforest reserve with waterfalls, gorillas, and dense jungle; highly biodiverse and less developed than Loango.
Ivindo protects rainforest and the stunning Kongou and Ivindo Falls. Gorillas, forest elephants, and unique birdlife inhabit the reserve. Access is via Makokou; rafting the river and forest trekking are primary activities. This is more adventurous and less developed than Loango; facilities are basic. The waterfall setting is dramatic. Visit in dry season.
