Lake Maga Canoe & Wading Bird Safari

Lake Maga (Lake Maga Reservoir) in the Far North is Cameroon's largest lake and a critical stopover for Sahel wading birds. A local guide takes small groups by canoe across the lake's shallows where shoebills, saddle-billed storks, and African spoonbills feed in concentration.
