Table Mountain dominates Cape Town's skyline. The rotating cable car carries 40 people per rotation to the 1,086m summit in 8 minutes. The top offers 360-degree views of False Bay, the Twelve Apostles range, and the Atlantic. On clear days you see 100 km in every direction. Walking trails range from easy strolls to challenging scrambles; popular routes include Bloubergstrand trail and Platteklip Gorge. Sunset from the top is otherworldly. Allow 3-4 hours total. Booking online avoids queues. Avoid misty days when visibility is zero.
