Santana Waterfall
Rainforest waterfall with swimming pool and jungle hiking, a half-day excursion from the capital.
Santana is a scenic waterfall in the interior rainforest. A hiking trail leads through thick jungle to the falls, which cascade into a clear pool. Swimming is possible. The trail is muddy and steep in places; guides are helpful. The forest is wet and lush year-round. Best in dry season when the path is less slippery.
