Trou aux Biches Beach
Long, sandy, protected beach on the north coast popular for swimming, snorkeling, and water sports.
This is Mauritius's archetypal beach: 2km of white sand, shallow warm water, palm trees, and calm lagoon protected by a coral reef. Snorkeling is excellent off the southern end. Restaurants and shops line the beach. It is busy on weekends but spacious enough for solitude. Hotels range from budget to luxury.
