Lake Malawi National Park
Clear-water lake with colorful endemic fish, perfect for snorkeling, diving, and island camping.
The southernmost portion of the lake (61,500 hectares) protects the clearest water and most of the 1,000+ endemic cichlid species. Snorkeling and diving are outstanding. Island campsites dot the park; boat access required. The water is warm and visibility exceptional. Accommodations range from basic island camps to lakeside lodges.
