Nairobi National Park
Urban protected area just outside Nairobi with wildlife, including rhinos, lions, and giraffes, and excellent views of the city skyline.
Nairobi National Park is one of the world's only protected areas with a major city skyline as backdrop. The park covers 117 square kilometers and hosts lions, leopards, rhinos, zebras, giraffes, and over 400 bird species. Game drives reveal wildlife in natural habitat. The giraffe center, elephant orphanage, and David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (orphaned elephants) offer additional experiences. The park is accessible as a day trip from the city; early morning is best for wildlife viewing.
