Kakum National Park & Canopy Walkway
Ghana's only rainforest national park with a dramatic canopy walkway 40 meters above the forest floor.
Kakum National Park protects a section of Ghana's rapidly disappearing rainforest. The main attraction is the canopy walkway: a series of suspended bridges allowing visitors to walk through the forest canopy. Wildlife includes forest elephants, antelopes, monkeys, and 250+ bird species. The walkway offers a unique perspective on forest ecology. The park has hiking trails and visitor facilities. Entry is affordable; guides are available. The experience is both exhilarating and educational.
