Comoe National Park (Suspended)

West Africa's largest national park with wildlife (elephants, antelopes, crocodiles) and pristine landscape. Currently closed due to insecurity.

Comoe National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site spanning savanna, forest, and riverine habitat. Wildlife includes elephants, buffalo, hippos, and crocodiles; bird watching is excellent. The park is vast and remote. However, poaching, conflict spillover, and banditry have forced closures. As of 2025, the park is not open for tourism; consult current status before planning.
