Congo River and Brazzaville Waterfront
Wide, powerful river forming the border with DRC, with scenic views, daily boat traffic, and riverfront markets.
The Congo River is the lifeblood of central Africa. From Brazzaville, the waterfront is scenic, especially at sunset. Boat trips along the river reveal fishing villages, wildlife, and daily transport. The Zaire Market on the waterfront is chaotic and energetic. Across the river is Kinshasa (DRC); views are dramatic.
