Yaoundé Cultural City Tour

Yaoundé was deliberately laid out across seven hills by German planners, creating a cleaner, greener capital than most West African cities. The National Museum holds pre-colonial masks, musical instruments, and royal objects from across Cameroon's 300 ethnic groups. The Mfoundi Grand Market is the largest traditional market in the centre region. The Benedictine Monastery on Mount Fébé produces its own wine and commands panoramic views of the city's forested hills.
