The Transcameroon Railway runs 622km from Yaoundé north to Ngaoundéré, passing through some of the most remote and biodiverse forest in Central Africa. The overnight train departs at 18:00 and arrives at dawn, traversing rainforest, savanna, and highland terrain inaccessible by road.
