Traditional Dance Performance

Dance is the living archive of Cameroon's 300 ethnic groups. Arranged through local cultural associations, a performance of one to two hours features authentic costumes, talking drums, balafons, and raffia masks. A cultural interpreter explains the occasion each dance traditionally marks and the symbolic language of the masks used.
