Chutes de la Lobé - 20m high and 100m wide - sit 7km south of Kribi and flow directly into the Atlantic Ocean, making them one of the only waterfalls in the world to do so. A pirogue across the river mouth reaches the far bank where the falls hit the beach. From there a walking trail follows the Lobé River upstream past Bagyeli Pygmy communities, where guides explain medicinal forest plants along the route.
